One of the questions I get the most on tours, especially when I mention that I’m recently married myself, is “Where did YOU get married?”

At my favorite venue, of course! Madison at the Mill is part of our family, and it’s basically our second home. It’s also one of the most beautiful wedding venues around, in my totally humble and unbiased opinion. ;)

I wanted to share the photos from Robert and I’s wedding that show off the Mill. We got married at his parents’ house, so you won’t see a lot of ceremony photos unless they show off our gold circle arbor that you can use for your wedding at the Mill, too! You might also see a few outdoor photos that show off how handsome my husband, our friends, AND our dog looked. haha

For our wedding, I incorporated a lot of my favorite color: black. I also wanted to make our wedding feel very personal, so you’ll see a lot of small details that really made it US. As a bride, coming up with those small things was the most fun part!

Chloe did an OUT OF THIS WORLD job on our invitations, save the dates, and signs! She took my brain and put it on paper. :)

Our guestbook idea came from Jess & Michael’s wedding! We had a rack of beautiful postcards that our guests wrote us, then dropped in the little mailbox. It’s so fun to go back and read them AND see which postcards everyone chose!

My mom folded over 200 of these napkin bows for me. We had so much fun setting them all out and seeing how they pulled everything together!

I did indeed put photos of Rory on every table. I wanted to make sure everyone knew whose wedding they were attending. haha

We got each groomsman an engraved glass from Etsy and a tie from the Tie Bar to match the bridesmaids.

Having Josh from Whiteflair Productions there to capture everything on video was worth every penny. I’ve watched our video SO many times. You can see the teaser video on our about page!

10/10 recommend doing a first look with your bridesmaids! These are some of my favorite photos. :)

Rory did make an appearance for photos after the ceremony, of course!

Some of our groomsmen had the big, very important job of taking our arbor from the ceremony to the venue. It was worth it!
